Drag Out HIV Oklahoma was started in 2021 as a program underneath Diversity Family Health with the goal of reaching an at-risk population in Oklahoma where icons of the LGBTQ community could talk about HIV risk and encourage testing, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and getting into treatment if HIV positive. There is nothing more dangerous to the community than having someone who is sexually active but doesn't know their status. They were also able to reduce stigma through discussing the fact that Undetectable = Untransmissible and how we shouldn't be afraid of individuals who have HIV as long as they are on treatment where they can't infect anyone else if they have an undetectable viral load. In 2024 End HIV Oklahoma, the non-profit that works with communities in the state of Oklahoma providing tangible resources to end the epidemic, took over the production of the calendar as a fundraising mechanism with the same goals of using "Dragtavism" to address the response to ending HIV. They continue to look for diversity in the calendar and producing the next calendar for 2025 and beyond.  Find out more about END HIV Oklahoma at their website

Drag Out HIV Oklahoma Application

Drag Out HIV Arkansas will have their first calendar produced in 2025 with Drag Queens from all over the state of Arkansas. Excitement is building as these queens are getting their photo shoots done and training to be able to talk about the six strategies to end the epidemic. These include 1) Knowing your Status, 2) Know your Risk 3) PEP for Exposure, 4) PrEP for Prevention, 5) Treatment to Undetectable, 6) Treatment as Prevention. Drag Out HIV Arkansas is a program funded by Diversity Family Health who has recently started providing care in Little Rock and Hot Springs providing a place for LGBTQ people to receive healthcare in an environment free of discrimination and bias.
