Oklahoma City is the corporate office for all Diversity Family Health locations. Opening in March of 2018, the current clinic in Shartel Towers has multiple providers addressing the unique needs of the LGBTQ community and has nurse practitioners that specialize in the area of Pediatrics and Women's Health in addition to the core services. This location also has a number of vetted sub-specialists when our patients need the additional assistance from providers specializing in things like cardiology, rheumatology, or neurology. This clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Family Nurse Practitioner
Russell Rooms is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years in the medical field and a Nurse Practitioner since 2004. He has a Doctoral degree from Oklahoma City University in Nursing Practice with a concentration in Community and Public Health. Dr. Rooms specializes in the identification and treatment of HPV related anal cancers in men who have sex with men.
Russell created Diversity Family Health out of the need for the LGBTQ+ community in Oklahoma City to be able to receive competent culturally centered care in an environment free of discrimination and bias. Starting in a one exam room location in the Gayborhood in Oklahoma City, Diversity Family Health has now grown to have multiple locations in the state of Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Jason Clemons, MSN, APRN-CNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and his Master of Science in Nursing at Midwestern State University. As a registered nurse, Jason worked in acute care for oncology patients before spending more than 10 years working in hospice, in both direct patient care as well as management. Then, after obtaining his FNP license, he continued his work in community care by playing an integral role in the formation of a palliative care program for a local hospice company before transitioning into providing community-based primary care to homebound patients for the past 8 years, where he has gained expertise in the management and treatment of multiple and advanced chronic conditions.
Jason is passionate about providing care to all people in a safe and non-judgmental environment and is excited to join Diversity Family Health, where he can bring his knowledge and experience in primary care to a truly inclusive space.
Outside of work, Jason is a proud dad to a wonderful, beautiful daughter. He is also passionate about music and loves to put his Bachelor of Musical Arts in Piano, which he obtained prior to nursing school, to good use by accompanying various community and school choirs.
Provider & Director of Marketng/Strategy
Ralph Cornelius, DNP APRN-FNP, is a dedicated healthcare professional who recently earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. His studies focused on healthcare equity and PrEP medication compliance. During his clinical rotations, he worked at Diversity Family Health for two semesters and served Oklahoma's rural communities in family practice and urgent care.
Before his career in nursing, Ralph graduated with a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Oklahoma. He worked for over a decade in local government and non-profit communications and marketing. Seeking a more impactful way to serve the community, he transitioned to nursing.
As a Registered Nurse, Ralph obtained the Progressive Care Certified Nurse certification and gained experience in critical care and surgery. Now, as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, he joins the Diversity Family Health team, ready to make a positive impact in healthcare and continue his mission of equitable care.

Kathy Kirk, MSN, APRN-CNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology in 1982, Master of Nursing 1989 and Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014. Kathy is currently working on a Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Her focus in on health disparities in the LGBTQ+ community. The goal is to provide evidence based mental health care to her patients.
She has worked with intersex children and adolescents in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and has a passion for providing affirming care for the gender expansive community. Kathy has extensive experience in women’s and sexual health, along with the management of chronic health conditions.
Shared decision making and empowerment of patients is the foundation of Kathy’s approach to patient care; where health care providers and patients work together as partners to develop a plan of care that is best for the patient.
Kathy is the proud mom of three grown children, four rescue dogs and a “house rabbit”.

Landon O’Shea, DNP, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Earlier this year he earned his doctorate in nursing practice from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he graduated with honors as a member of Sigma Theta Tau. He completed clinical rotations within several health networks throughout the Oklahoma City metro.
Helping the people of Oklahoma City is something Landon is passionate about. In fact, for several years prior to nursing, he greatly enjoyed his work for Ronald McDonald House Charities, where he helped provide a ‘home-away-from-home’ for families of seriously ill or injured children.
In 2016, Landon attained his bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma. At that time, he completed his capstone work with patients of Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. It wasn’t long after that he began his pursuit towards a career in nursing. Prior to coming to Diversity Family Health, Landon worked as a registered nurse in critical care for five years. He excelled in his line of work, quickly attaining national certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
He sees his new role as a natural progression in his career as a healthcare provider, as well as an exciting and humbling opportunity to continue his service to his community.

He has a Master's degree from the University of Texas as an Emergency Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Post Masters degree as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Most recently Russell completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a concentration in community and public health at Oklahoma City University where he focused on the prevention and treatment of anal cancers in men who have sex with men.
Russell specializes in conditions that effect the LGBTQ+ community with experience and training in gender affirming care, and HIV prevention and treatment. Russell also specializes in HPV related anal neoplasia and trained in high resolution anoscopy.
Provider & Directo of Clinical Services
Jewelle Scott, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013 prior to completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University in 2018. She has extensive experience in women’s and sexual health, gender affirming hormone therapy, PrEP/PEP, as well as experience in preventative care and the management and treatment of chronic conditions. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice as well as a certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Oklahoma City University and looks forward to the ability to provide mental health care to all who need it.
Jewelle is a proud mom and ally who is passionate about expanding access to mental health care within the LGBTQ+ community. She values transparency and honesty and believes that an open partnership with her patients is key in optimizing overall health. She looks forward to joining the Diversity Family Health team and the ability to continue to provide quality and nonjudgmental care to all.
Mental Health Therapist
Laine Soto, LCSW is a queer and nonbinary mental health therapist. They attended the University of Oklahoma for both their Bachelor and Master of Science in Social Work. Before coming to Diversity Family Health, they spent over 4 years working in community mental health and have a background in domestic violence services. They have worked with a little bit of everything in community mental health, but they especially enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. They value individuality, inclusion, and fair treatment for all. They are open and active in sharing knowledge and resources with an aim to foster cultural humility and informed practice in healthcare and they have also provided training opportunities for other clinicians to learn more about best practices in serving the LGBTQ+ community. When they aren’t seeing clients, Laine can often be found doing pottery and glassblowing at local studios or spending time with their spouse and a menagerie of unusual pets.
Medical Assistant
Travon Stephens is a National Certified Medical Assistant with experience in both hospital and clinical settings. Travon's path into the medical field was not your typical one; it all stems from a video game. While in his adolescence, Travon enjoyed playing a video game with a nurse as a character, and he was hooked. He wanted to be just like the character, including their profession. Fast forward to adulthood, and he is following his dreams of working in medicine. He wishes to become a licensed practical nurse and plans to return to school to achieve his goal soon. Travon enjoys playing video games during his free time with his identical twin brother. Travon also enjoys playing card games, in particular one called Yu-Gi-Oh. He even participates in local tournaments.

Administrative Assistant
Reyna (She/They) is our medical receptionist and referral coordinator. She worked with DHS for two years before coming to Diversity Family Health. New to the community and to OKC, Reyna moved to OKC with her fur baby Artemis. Growing up in a conservative town made them know what it feels like to be out of place, and she strives to make sure the others in our community have a safe place.
Her hobbies include Dungeons and Dragons, spending time with her dog, and painting.
Program Coordinator
Ryan Ochsner is the Program Coordinator with Diversity Family Health. In his role he provides education and outreach for HIV treatment and prevention and assists individuals with accessing care at free or reduced costs.
Ryan is passionate about HIV treatment and prevention. Since 2015, Ryan has been an advisory board member of Other Options, Oklahoma’s only food pantry for people living with HIV or AIDS. He is also a member of the Oklahoma Hepatitis C and HIV Planning Council, the State’s Ending the Epidemic Task Force and the HIV Education & Prevention Co-Op.
Prior to joining Diversity Family Health, Ryan spent over 18 years in elementary education and school administration. He was responsible for the after school, summer camp and extracurricular student activities for a variety of public and private schools including Yukon Public Schools and Keystone Adventure School and Farm.
Along with his passion for HIV awareness, education and prevention, Ryan is a lover of the arts. He can often be found catching live theater performances. Ryan is a 2012 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He is also an avid yogi and has completed his 200 RYT Yoga Alliance training and is a certified yoga instructor.
Director of Operations & HR
CJ joins the Diversity Family Health team after years of working in Health Care HR. He has a bachelor’s human resources. He is currently working on his master’s degree in health care administration management.
CJ has been involved with the Great Plains Rodeo Association for over 7 years. He is a supporter of local charities and events within the state. When not at Diversity Family Health he is always busy with a project, from cruising the 7 seas to his Scentsy business.
Director of Finance
Tracy has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, working in the management, reimbursement, billing, and coding sectors. She has completed her Bachelors in Healthcare Administration and Masters in Human Relations. She is also a Certified Professional Biller, Certified Ophthalmology Professional Coder, and an Approved instructor through AAPC. Tracy is also an adjunct professor for OSU-OKC Healthcare Administration department.
Tracy is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and is proud of being on the Diversity Family Health Team. Outside of work Tracy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to learn and read. She also enjoys being outdoors in nature as much as she can be.
