Apretude for Prevention
You can now protect yourself against exposure to HIV without pills. Apretude is an injection that you get every other month and is as effective as pills for prevention of HIV infection. It is perfect for the person who struggles remembering to take their oral medications, takes no other medications, or has difficulty with stigma related to taking PrEP. Apretude does not protect against other sexually transmitted infections, but at Diversity Family Health, we screen you each visit based on your activity as part of a comprehensive sexual health program.
